The groundwater level monitoring equipment is based on the principle of static water pressure that is proportional to the depth of water. Water pressure sensitive integrated components are used as a sensor probe for deep well water level measurement. When the sensor probe is fixed at a certain measuring point under the water, the height of the water column pressure above the measuring point plus the elevation of the point can indirectly measure the water level height (the distance from the water surface to the wellhead). What is directly measured is the actual height of the liquid level above the sensor probe in the deep well.
